Intro skips way too fast. I can't read what's in there
I can't read anything in the cutscene as well.
Since you have explanatory text in your game you could state it clearer that the yellow blocks reverse controls. For a second I thought the flying eye guy does it Actually I haven't seen stated that you have to outrun the Guide either or that there's a time limit.
Instead of saying "Yellow blocks reverse your controls" just like in the pause menu you had to explain first what does reverse even mean... Do people need explaining which one is their other hand?... Also it's good I paused the game since I've played only like 8 levels and didn't get to see all the blocks.
Fail screen is kind of weird. What emotion my character portrays?... Is he asleep, bored, stubborn or what?...
On like 3rd level which is for some reason hard for me to complete with 3 stars you put "Go here" text even though the exit is a little bit further... Or maybe you think we need the guide AND the pointers to know where we have to go ... It would be kind of insulting.
Actually... the fact that character that's supposed to guide us can't be first at the end line or we lose is just wrong...
Music is fine, artstyle too. If you aim this game at really young kids maybe this much hand-holding is justifiable idk.
Sometimes it's easy to get the 3 stars sometimes it feels like you have to be perfect all the way and maybe you get it. It probably would use some balancing.
Conclusion: Quite fine looking game with some strange design choices.
